Moose Jaw Police responded to 40 calls for service.

7:01 am – Fire Call – There appeared to be a residential fire.  It was a false alarm.

7:18 am – City After Hours Call – A complainant’s residence was still without water.  The City was called and informed that there was a water main break in the area.

10:56 am – Break and Enter – A residence was broken into and items were taken.  The subject was arrested and will be held for court.

10:58 am – Assist Ambulance – Police were required to assist EMS with a patient. 

11:05 am – Unwanted Guest – A subject that was banned from a property was on that property.  Police issued a trespass ticket.

2:48 pm – Break and Enter – A complainant’s home was open when they returned home. 

3:38 pm – Dangerous Driving – A vehicle was speeding through a school zone.  The complainant obtained the plate and police will follow up with the registered owner.

5:29 pm – Mischief – Two males were having a civil dispute over a vehicle.  Police mediated and the vehicle was returned.

5:46 pm – Traffic Obstruction – A semi was in the ditch and blocking traffic.  A detour was created until the semi was moved.

7:00 pm – Threats – A complainant was receiving threats and wanted a restraining order.  Police gave advice as the criteria are not yet met to obtain one.

8:48 pm – Sudden Death – A subject passed away from natural causes. 

3:19 am – Suspicious Occurrence – A subject was banging on the complainant’s door and screaming.  The subject was gone upon police arrival and was not found in the area.

Police responded to three 911 calls.
Police assisted other agencies in four cases.
Police responded to two after hours calls.
