Moose Jaw Police responded to 36 calls for service. 

7:32 am – Disturbance – A subject banned from a business kept returning and causing a disturbance. This is still under investigation to warn the subject.

9:57 am – Noise Bylaw – A resident was playing loud music for the last 2 days. Police attended and the subject shut off the music when asked.

10:54 am – Suspicious Occurrence – A subject came into a local business with some possible stolen property and uttered a threat when leaving. This is still under investigation.

11:02 am – Dispute – A complainant came into the station looking for some advice regarding a landlord tenant dispute. Advice was given.

11:33 am – Obstruct Peace Officer – A vehicle fled from police officers during a traffic stop. This is still under investigation.

12:02 pm – Parking Bylaw – A trailer was parked on a residential street for a long period of time. Police spoke with the registered owner and they will have it moved.

12:11 pm – Fraud – A complainant lost a debit card and noticed it had multiple charges on it. The total loss was $500.00, and this is still under investigation.

2:17 pm – Mischief – Damage was done to a storage unit. Nothing was taken, and this was reported for informational purposes.

3:59 pm – Erratic Driving – A vehicle was stunting in a parking lot. Video was obtained and this is still under investigation to follow up with the registered owner.

5:42 pm – Hit & Run – This occurred in a parking lot. The witness was able to obtain a plate number. This is still under investigation to locate the other vehicle.

10:37 pm – Impaired Driver – A call was received regarding an adult suspected of impaired driving, and the individual was located.  The subject gave a breath sample and the result was a Warn – A 60 day license suspension was issued and the vehicle was impounded for 3 days.

12:20 am – Unwanted Guest – An adult was refusing to leave a licensed establishment upon the request of staff.  The subject complied when police attended.  No charges resulted.

1:57 am – Assault – An adult assaulted 3 youth.  No injuries resulted.  The subject was charged with three counts of assault and a warrant was issued.

Police assisted other agencies in six cases.
