Police and Fire Report

Moose Jaw Police responded to 44 calls for service.

9:06 am – Harassing Calls – A person reported harassing text messages being received. The individual was advised of the proper avenues and the situation was mediated.  

10:08 am – Fail to Appear – Eight adults failed to appear in Court when required. Warrants were issued.

10:55 am – Dispute – Two adult parties were reporting a dispute. No charges are to be pressed and advice was given. 

10:56 am – There was a report of illegal stopping in a bus lane. This is still under investigation for police to contact the registered owner.

11:10 am – Harassing Calls – A person reported harassment. This is still under investigation.

11:28 am – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle was parked too close to the intersection and it made it difficult to see oncoming traffic. The registered owner was contacted and moved the vehicle.

12:08 pm – Dispute – Two parties involved in a dispute. Youth was warned.

12:50 pm – Well Being Check – There was a report from family who were concerned about not hearing from another family member. Police attended and found the subject home and to be fine.

1:33 pm – Dispute – There was a report of a dispute between two adult parties. One party left and the situation was mediated.

1:35 pm – Assist Sick Person – The subject was checked on and voluntarily attended the Hospital and was left in their care.

1:38 pm – Harassing Communication – A person was reporting messages being received via a Facebook account and was advised of appropriate avenues to take. 

1:56 pm – Unwanted Guest – There was a report of a person who attended a place of business where they are banned. No charges were laid.

3:20 pm – Parking Bylaw – There was a report of a vehicle parked and numerous tickets have been issued. The vehicle was towed.

6:15 pm – Dispute – Two adult parties had an altercation. Charges are pending.

6:22 pm – Well Being Check – There was a report to check on a person’s well-being. The person was located and is fine.

7:32 pm – Threats Uttered – Staff at a business reported an adult male who entered the premise and uttered threats to staff members. Video was obtained and this is still under investigation.

10:45 pm – Breach of Conditions – A verbal altercation between two adult parties took place. The subject was arrested.

11:37 pm – Suspicious Person – There was a report of an unknown subject trying the doors of a business who left on foot. Police did an area check and determined the building to be secure.

3:55 am – Breach Court Order – An adult was found walking around past curfew and intoxicated.  They were arrested and held until sober.  The individual was released on a document for court at a later date.
