Police and Fire report

Moose Jaw Police received 31 calls for service.  

10:36 am – Parking bylaw reported on the 200 block of High Street E. Parking ticket issued for vehicle blocking complainant’s driveway. 

10:43 am – Assault reported on the 200 block of High Street W. Person arrested and charged with assault. Subject was subsequently released by a Justice of the Peace with court ordered conditions & to attend court at a later date. 

3:30 pm – Fraud reported on the 900 block of Thatcher Drive E. Person defrauded business, police are still investigating. 

4:11 pm – Police attended the 0 block of River Street W for breach of court Order. Person was located under the influence of drugs. Subject was in breach of conditions of court order & arrested for outstanding warrant. 

5:07 pm – Hit & Run to a vehicle reported on the 200 block of Fairford Street E. Damage estimated at $500 to front bumper. 

7:07 pm – Harassing calls reported on the 600 block of Fairford Street E. Police spoke to party involved to cease any contact with the complainant. 

9:03 pm – Threat reported on the 1100 block of Redland Avenue. Phone scam. Complainant was advised to contact service provider and not to take any calls from them.

 9:15 pm – Erratic driving reported on 9^th Avenue NE and Athabasca Street E. Vehicle reported stunting, the matter is still under investigation to contact complainant to obtain a statement. 

11:02 pm – Noise complaint reported on Willow Avenue and Saskatchewan Street E. Resident was warned regarding noise bylaw. 

12:26 am – Loud party reported on the 1000 block of 1^st Avenue NW. Resident was warned regarding noise bylaw. 

2:04 am – Intoxicated person reported on 1^st Avenue NW and Caribou Street W. Person found passed out on sidewalk was transported to cells and detained until sober.
