Moose Jaw received 45 calls for service.

9:34 am – Erratic driving reported on 9th Avenue NW and Caribou Street W. A vehicle was passing another slow moving vehicle where passing was not permitted. The license plate number was reported and the matter is still under investigation to locate owner. 

10:59 am – Erratic driver reported on 9th Avenue NE and Oxford Street E. Vehicle passed slow moving vehicle where passing not allowed, then hit brakes to make a point. The license plate number was reported and the matter is still under investigation.  

11:15 am - Request to check on an adult after concerning text messages received on the 1000 block of Montgomery Street.  Adult located and was fine. 

11:20 am – 2 vehicle collision reported on Duffield Street W and Tapley Street. Approximately $50,000 in damage, 1 minor injury, and 1 vehicle required towing. 1 ticket was issued for failing to yield right of way.

11:58 am – Disturbance reported on the 100 block of Main Street N. Two adults fighting, no injuries to report and the matter is still under investigation.  

2:51 pm – Dispute reported on the 100 block of Main Street N. Parking lot road rage between two drivers. Both parties will be warned. 

3:06 pm – 2 vehicle collisions reported on 11th Avenue SW and Coteau Street W. Minor injuries reported, approximately $30,000 in damage. Both vehicles requires towing and 1 ticket issued for disobeying a stop sign. 

3:45 pm – Indecent act reported on the 500 block of Athabasca Street E. Adult male exposing himself to youth. The vehicle and suspect description were taken. 

4:24 pm – 2 vehicle collision reported on MacDonald Street W and 9th Avenue NW. No injuries to report and approximately $10,000 in damage. One vehicle was towed. 

8:10 pm – Property dispute reported on the 900 block of Hochelaga Street W. Both parties spoken to and an agreement was made. 

10:36 pm – Mischief reported on the 200 block of High Street W. Adult calling Police to complain about phone numbers in the phone book and wrong phone numbers posted in their building. The individual was advised the situation was not a Police matter. The caller made continuous phone calls to Police and was warned for public mischief. 

3:41 am – Impaired driver reported on 3rd Avenue NE and Manitoba Street E. Vehicle located and owner spoken to, had sober friend driving.

4:20 am – Assault with a weapon reported on the 0 block of Wood Lily Drive. Adult stabbed, non-life threatening injury. The matter is still under investigation.  

 

One person was charged for failing to appear in court.
Police issued 4 tickets for parking bylaws.
3 hit and runs reported.
Police responded to Eight 911 calls.
