Moose Jaw Police received 32 calls for service

 8:26 am – Vehicle collision reported on the 400 block of Fairford Street E. Two vehicles involved and no injuries to report. There was approximately $5000 in damage. 

11:18 am – Theft reported on the 100 block of 1st Avenue NW. An unlocked vehicle entered in the late evening, a wallet containing identification and $100 cash stolen. 

11:56 am – Mischief reported on the 700 block of Coteau Street W. Passenger side window of vehicle smashed out causing $300 in damage. The incident occurred sometime overnight, nothing was missing.  

2:47 pm – Theft reported on the 800 block of 7th Avenue NE. A vehicle entered overnight, straps valued at approximately $40 stolen.  No damage to vehicle. 

3:05 pm – Found property reported on the 900 block of 2nd Avenue NW. Wallet found in the area and turned into the police station.  Owner of wallet contacted. 

3:30 pm – Accident reported on Duffield Street and Tapley Street. Vehicle hit curb by avoiding a deer.  No injuries.  Vehicle towed with approximately $4000 damage. 

4:45 pm - Report of a vehicle in the field towing people on a sled on the 100 block of Dahlia Cres.  Vehicle located and driver warned.

7:08 pm – Break and Enter reported on the 1500 block of Hastings Street. Home entered while owners away.  Approximately $2500 worth of electronics stolen.  Still under investigation. 

7:50 pm – Impaired driver reported on 1st Ave NW/Manitoba St W. Driver of vehicle was asked to submit a breath sample which resulted in a warning.  Driver was issued a 72 hour license suspension. 

1:36 am – Noise bylaw reported on the 800 block of 7th Avenue NE. Police attended and warned the resident under the bylaw. 

Police responded to Two 911 calls.
Police were called to assist 2 other Government agencies.
Police executed 3 warrants.
