Moose Jaw Police responded to 44 calls for service.

7:36 am – 1000 Block Athabasca St W – Mischief – Sometime overnight a driver’s side mirror was damaged on a vehicle. The damage was estimated at $500, and police continue to investigate.

8:04 am – 100 Block Iroquois St W – Trespass – A complainant saw someone in the neighbour’s yard and scared them off; police attended to the area but the subject was gone. Nothing was missing or damaged in the yard.

9:40 am – Moose Jaw Police Service assisted the RCMP with a semi rollover 2 miles east of Moose Jaw.

11:46 am – 100 Block 1^st Ave NW – Unwanted Guest – A subject was refusing to leave when asked. Police attended and the subject left upon request. The individual was warned that if returned, they would be charged with trespassing.

1:45 pm – 0 Block Fairford St E – Hit and Run – A hit and run occurred sometime yesterday, with the damage estimated at $1,500. The proper SGI paperwork is to be filled out and sent in.

2:01 pm – Manitoba St E at 2^nd Ave NE – Police assisted with a name exchange for a non-reportable motor vehicle collision.

2:18 pm – A complainant requested police assistance to have a subject take pictures of daughter posted on Facebook off; the pictures were taken off in police presence.

3:43 pm – 200 Block 1^st Ave NW – Assist EMS – Police assisted the EMS with a patient; the subject refused treatment by EMS and was warned for causing a disturbance.

4:17 pm – 1300 Block Grandview St W – Theft from Vehicle – Sometime overnight an unlocked vehicle was entered. Miscellaneous items were taken, with the loss estimated at $1,400.

4:23 pm – 1300 Block Stadacona St W – A subject was charged for breaching a no contact condition and was released for a later court date.

5:01 pm – 700 Block Athabasca St E – Dispute – There was a dispute between two parties. Police spoke to both parties involved and mediated the dispute, and one party agreed to leave for the night.

5:07 pm – 0 Block Wood Lily Dr – Well-Being Check – A subject was located in fine health.

6:32 pm – 1000 Block Athabasca St E – While doing a routine traffic patrol, a vehicle was stopped and the driver was found to be suspended and impoundable. The driver was arrested on outstanding warrants, and the vehicle was seized.

7:02 pm – 500 Block Thatcher Dr E – There was a report of a driver talking on a cell phone while driving, with the subject warned as per the complainant’s wishes.

7:57 pm – 900 Block Warner St – Parking Bylaw – There was a report of a vehicle parked in the alley and partially blocking the alley. Police attended and located the owner, and the vehicle was moved.

9:03 pm – 600 Block Fairford St E – Assistance to Sick Person – Police located the subject, brought the individual to the hospital, and left the person in the care of medical staff.

10:38 pm – 14^th Ave SW at Warner St – Vehicle Entry – A subject out walking their dog witnessed someone trying to enter a vehicle and provided police with a description. The suspect was located and spoken to by police, warned for their actions, and had their parents spoken to and advised of the situation.

12:40 am – 900 Block Francis St – Noise Bylaw – There was a report of a noisy party, as well as a dirt bike driving around. Police attended to the area and spoke to the homeowner, who was working on a dirt bike in the garage. The individual was warned under the noise bylaw.

1:10 am – 1600 Block Bingham Rd – Noise Bylaw – There was a report of a noisy party, and the homeowner was warned under the noise bylaw.

2:06 am – 900 Block Caribou St E – Noise Bylaw – There was a report of a noisy stereo. The house was in darkness and no noise could be heard upon police arrival. Police spoke to the complainant, who advised that the stereo had been shut down just prior to police arrival.

5:35 am – 1000 Block Athabasca St E – Assist Other Government Agency – Police checked to see if the subject was at home and not breaching a no consume alcohol condition. The subject was found at home and was not breaching any conditions; police advised the agency.
