Police and Fire Report

Moose Jaw Police responded to 34 calls for service.

8:52 am– 1300 block Stadacona St W – Municipal Bylaw – A truck had no tarp and its load was scattering debris on the road. The owner of the truck was contacted, and they will clean up the debris.

9:19 am – 1000 block 1^st Ave NW – Dispute – The parties were spoken to, and the situation was mediated.

12:54 pm – 1200 block Main St N – Dispute – This occurred between two parties and was mediated.

2:28 pm – 1000 block 2^nd Ave NE – Mischief to Property – A house was spray-painted in a couple of spots.

3:54 pm – 0 block Fairford St W – Assistance to Sick Person – A subject was spoken to and advice was given.

4:11 pm – 4^th Ave NE at Stadacona St E – Two Vehicle Accident – There was approximately $15,000 of damage and no charges.

4:53 pm – 5^th Ave NE at Oxford St E – There were reports of a vehicle ripping around by the ball diamonds.  A vehicle description was obtained; however, no plate number was obtained.  Police are on the lookout for the described vehicle.

5:07 pm – 0 block Wood Lily Dr – Wellbeing check – The subject was located, was fine and is with family.

5:18 pm – Ominica St W at 4^th Ave NW – Two Vehicle Accident – There was one injury and approximately $10,000 in damage.  One ticket was issued for disobeying a stop sign.

5:42 pm – 600 block Fairford St E – Noise Bylaw – A tenant was warned regarding the noise bylaw for a loud stereo.

8:05 pm – 900 block James St – Fire Call – The Moose Jaw Police assisted the fire department.  The building was checked and no fire was found.

8:57 pm – 1200 block Main St N – Bike Theft – Police are still investigating.
