Moose Jaw Police responded to 55 calls for service.

7:32 am – 1600 block General Cr – Theft – There were thefts of items from several unlocked vehicles overnight.  The public is reminded to ensure their vehicles are locked when they’re unattended.

8:39 am – 0 block Fairford St W – Breach Court Order – An adult failed to appear for fingerprinting.  Police issued a warrant.

10:34 am – 200 block High St E – Theft – Money was stolen from a purse. The suspect is known and police are still investigating.

11:44 am – 1000 block 4th Av NE – Noise Bylaw – Dogs were barking repetitively and the owner was warned.

12:10 pm – 0 block High St W – Dispute – There were relationship break up issues and police gave advice.

1:16 pm – 300 block Oxford St W – Assist School – There was a practice “lockdown” drill.

2:29 pm– 600 block Fairford St E – Garage Fire – Police are still investigating.

4:07 pm – 0 block Iron Bridge – Attempted Theft – An adult attempted to steal lumber. A description was obtained and police are still investigating.

4:32 pm – 9th Av NW at High St W – Erratic Driving – An adult driver was causing issues at the intersection, and the plate was obtained.  Police are still investigating to speak with the owner.

5:09 pm – 1st Av NW at Athabasca St W – Injury Collision – There was a three vehicle collision with a minor injury, $20,000 in damage, and one ticket issued for undue care and attention.

6:38 pm – 9th Av NW at Saskatchewan St W – Erratic Driving – An adult driver was causing problems in traffic. This was an ongoing problem, and the license plate was obtained.  Police are still investigating to speak with the owner.

6:40 pm – Sunningdale Creek – Suspicious Person – There was an adult with a gun. The individual was a Predation Specialist hired by the city to keep the beaver population under control. All was okay. 

6:50 pm – 100 block Thatcher Dr W – Camper Theft – A camper was stolen from a parking lot.  The camper is a 12’, “Taylor Coach” and has an Ontario license plate, E4744L.  If located please contact the Moose Jaw Police Service at 306-694-7600, Ext 2.

7:09 pm – 100 to 400 block Home St W – Erratic Driving – There was a request to monitor the speed in the area due to a high volume of traffic in detour.  Police monitored the area and no infractions were noted.

7:27 pm – 1400 block 9th Av NE – Assist EMS – An adult was in distress after excessive drinking.  The individual was taken to the hospital by EMS.

9:38 pm – 0 block MacDonald St – Unwanted Guest – An adult was sobering up and falling asleep, and the individual refused to leave upon request.  Police attended and removed the subject.

10:16 pm – 1000 block Henry St – Breach Court Order – A youth was not home for Court ordered curfew.  Charges were laid.

12:14 am – 1200 block 11th Av SW – Breach Court Order – A youth was not home for Court ordered curfew.  Charges were laid.

6:00 am – 800 block Athabasca St E – Stolen Auto – A 1992 blue Mazda pickup with the license plate 665KSF was taken overnight.  If located please notify the police.
