Moose Jaw Police responded to 30 calls for service. 

7:58 am – 0 block North Service Rd – Unwanted Guest – An adult waiting to catch a bus was causing problems in a local business. The individual was removed and taken to Social Services.

8:44 am – 4th Av Bridge – Erratic Driving – A vehicle passed other vehicles on the bridge, and a license plate number was obtained. The owner is to be spoken to.

9:56 am – 9th Av SW at Lillooet St W – Collision – Two vehicles collided, which caused approximately $3000 of damage. There was one charge for following too close.

10:49 am – 1400 block Grandview St W – Dog Bite – An adult and dog were bitten by a Pit Bull. Police are still investigating.

10:58 am – 9th Av NW at Thatcher Dr W – Erratic Driving – A vehicle was cutting another vehicle off, and the license plate was obtained. The owner was notified and warned.

11:07 am – 1700 block Hastings – Assist Sick Person – There was a request to check on an adult who wasn’t feeling well.  After speaking with the subject, police arranged for them to be transported to the hospital for care.

12:56 pm – 100 block Grandview St E – Collision – There were no injuries, two tows, $20,000 of damage, and one charge for proceeding before it was safe.

1:59 pm – 0 block Wood Lily Dr – Well Being Check – The subject was contacted, and all was okay.

3:59 pm – 1100 block Grace St – Assist Locate – A youth left school early and had not been seen for the past 24 hours. The individual returned home on their own at approximately 7:45 pm. They were spoken to.

4:34 pm – 1200 block 11th Av SW – Well Being Check – There was a request to check on an adult after they had admitted to using meth several days ago.  The subject was located and was okay, and the individual has supervision.

11:35 pm – 0 block Diefenbaker Dr – Assist Sick Person – A certified patient left the hospital.  They were located and returned for care.

1:11 am – 0 block Manitoba St W – Unwanted Guest – An adult was causing problems and refused to leave a business.  The subject was removed from the business and held in cells until sober.

4:27 am – 1200 block Athabasca St W – Theft – A youth was noted entering unlocked vehicles.  The youth was located and charged with possession of stolen property, breaching of curfew and keeping the peace as well as possession of drugs.
