Police and Fire Report

Moose Jaw Police responded to 43 calls for service.

8:08 am – 1100 Block Warner St – Motor Vehicle Accident – A vehicle hit a fence and left the scene without exchanging information with the homeowner.

9:04 am – 1100 Block Grace St – Multi Vehicle Accident – A vehicle stopped at a crosswalk was rear-ended by another vehicle.  There was approximately $20,0000 of damage, no injuries, and two tows. One driver was issued three tickets.

9:30 am – 1300 Block 12^th Av SW – Dispute – There was a verbal argument between family members.  Police provided options.

10:48 am – 1100 Block Montgomery St – Hit & Run – This occurred between November 1 and 16, and there was approximately $2000 of damage to the driver’s side rear bumper.

10:58 am – 1200 Block 1^st Av NW – Motor Vehicle Accident – A driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a house and a tree, causing approximately $10,000 of damage.  There were no injuries and no charges, and the vehicle was towed.

11:45 am – 13^th Av NE at Athabasca St E – Towed Vehicle – A vehicle was parked on the street unregistered.  The vehicle was towed under the municipal bylaw.

2:00 pm – 1200 Block 5^th Av NW – Breach Court Order – A subject placed on court orders to stay away from a residence and a person residing there was reported to be at the residence.  Police attended to the residence and no one was there.

2:14 pm – 1400 Block 9^th Av NE – Break & Enter/Theft – This occurred on November 13. An unlocked garage was entered with water jugs and change being taken.  There was no damage to any property. 

2:44 pm – 0 Block Athabasca St W – Theft Under – This occurred November 14. Money was taken from a business.  Police are still investigating to speak with the suspect.

2:47 pm – 200 Block Main St N – Threats – A subject attended and made threatening comments to an employee.  The subject was spoken to by police.

3:29 pm – 1000 Block 13^th Av NW – Fraud – A fraudulent email was received that requested personal information.  The information was provided by the complainant, who has since cancelled the cards.

3:45 pm – 100 Block 1^st Av NE – Assault – Police continue to investigate, and statements are to be obtained.

5:39 pm – 1000 Block Clifton Av – Unwanted Guest – A subject invited to a residence was no longer welcome.  Police attended and the subject left upon request.

6:24 pm – 5^th Av NW at Stadacona St W – Seized Vehicle – A vehicle was being driven by a suspended and impoundable driver, and the plates were expired.  The vehicle was seized and the driver was issued tickets.

9:43 pm – 200 Block Hochelaga St W – Well Being Check – Police attended to a residence and the subject was found to be in good health.

9:57 pm – 200 Block Lillooet St W – Well Being Check – There was miscommunication between parties.  Police spoke with all parties and everything is now okay.
