Moose Jaw Police responded to 30 calls for service.

8:48 am – 1200 block Carleton St – Theft Under – Sometime overnight recyclables were stolen; this was reported for informational purposes.

9:01 am – 1100 block Brown St – Drive Without Due Care – A distracted driver was reported; however, the plate provided was incorrect and did not match the vehicle description.

9:55 am – 1500 block Hastings St – Parking Complaint – A vehicle was located and the tires were marked; police will check back in 72 hours to see if it moved.

10:03 am – 1500 block Main St N – Attempted Theft – Sometime overnight unknown persons attempted to steal a trailer and caused approximately $300 of damage.

11:11 am – 0 block Athabasca St W – Hit and Run – A vehicle was backing up and hit the complainant. Police are still investigating to speak with the registered owner.

12:51 pm – 300 block Lillooet St W – Assist Other Agency – A subject was located and taken to the hospital voluntarily and left in their care.

1:25 pm – 1000 block Willow Av – Dispute – Both subjects were spoken to and the situation was mediated.

4:06 pm – 1100 block Main St N – Hit and Run – Approximately $3000 of damage was done. There are no suspects, and an SGI form was completed.

5:54 pm – 300 block Macdonald St – Dangerous Driving – A vehicle illegally passed by another vehicle which was stopped for pedestrians; the incident is still under investigation.

5:57 pm – 100 block Hochelaga St W – Dispute – Both subjects were spoken to; one was warned, and the situation was mediated.

6:00 pm – 1400 block Spadina St – Theft Under – Sometime between March 14-15th a $100 garbage bin was stolen. This was reported for informational purposes.

7:32 pm – 400 block Moose Sq – Assistance to Sick Person – a subject was located and taken to hospital voluntarily. The individual was left in the care of staff and family.

7:43 pm – 200 block Main St N – Theft Under – A suspect was located and is facing charges for Possession of Stolen Property, Mischief (property damage) and Breaching a Court Order,. They will attend court in the morning.

9:05 pm – 900 block Ross St E – Noise Complaint – Police are to speak with the home owners and warn them under the bylaw.

9:11 pm – 1000 block Caribou St E – Break and Enter – A suspect had walked into the door of a residence and asked for money. The suspect was located and the complainant did not wish to proceed with charges.

9:19 pm – 800 block MacDonald St – A report was made of two children eating a stranger’s food and saying they did not know where their parents were. The children were later located at home with family and found to be in good health. Their parent was advised of the complaint, and Social Services was contacted.

10:37 pm – 200 Coteau St W – Theft of Auto – A suspect was identified; the incident is still under investigation for possible charges.

12:30 am – 0 block Wood Lily Dr – Noise Bylaw – The resident was spoken to and warned under the noise bylaw.

5:52 am – 300 block Lillooet St W – Misuse of 911 – A subject had called 911 for a non-police matter. They were spoken to and warned regarding the consequences of misusing 911.

Police executed three warrants.
