Moose Jaw Police responded to 29 calls for service.

8:28 am – 500 Block Thatcher Dr E –Theft Under – An Iphone 6S stolen while shopping, occurred 2018 April 02.  Still under investigation to obtain serial number of phone and attempt to retrieve video from Walmart.

1054 am – 0 Block Thatcher Dr E – Lost Property – A subject lost personal property and reported it for informational purposes in case it gets turned in to police.

11:42 am – 300 Block 4th Av SW – Fraud – A subject provided a forged prescription to a pharmacist.  Police are still investigating to obtain statements for possible charges.

12:00 pm – 1100 Block Vaughan St – Nuisance Communication – Unwanted communication was being received.  Options and advice were provided to the complainant.

1:04 pm – 100 Block Main St N – Fraud – A cheque belonging to a business was cashed by an unknown person.  Police continue to investigate.

2:15 pm – 16th Av SW at Coteau St W – Erratic Driving – Vehicle descriptions of two vehicles were provided to police and were reportedly racing down streets in the area.  Police patrolled the area; however, the vehicles were not located.  Extra patrols are to be conducted.

3:05 pm – 1000 Block Lillooet St W – Theft Under – Sometime over the winter a black and red Norco Rival, 15 speed mountain bike was stolen from a garage. It was reported for informational purposes at this time.

5:41 pm – 300 Block Manitoba St W – Hit & Run – A mirror on a vehicle was damaged while parked in the area.  Approximate $1000 of damage was done.

5:09 pm – 200 Block Iroquois St W – Assist Other Agency – A subject was becoming violent after requesting assistance from EMS.  The subject calmed down and was transported to hospital by EMS.

7:25 pm – 800 Block 8th Av NW – Suspicious Person – A complainant thinks people are in the garage who were not to be there.  Police attended and spoke to all subjects.  The complainant had asked one subject to help start a vehicle, and that subject brought friends to assist.

8:06 pm – 1200 Block 11th Av SW –Noise Bylaw – Music was blaring from an apartment.  The tenant turned the music down prior to police arrival.

11:10 pm – 1st Av NW at Caribou St W – MVA – A two vehicle collision resulted in approximately $25,000 of damage, two tows, no injuries and one charge for disobeying a red light.

11:19 pm – 1100 Block 13th Av NW – Intoxicated Person – A subject went out for their 19th birthday, returned home intoxicated, and became confrontational with a roommate.  Police attended and the intoxicated subject went to bed.

12:17 am – 1100 Block Hochelaga St W – Noise Bylaw – Someone in the neighbourhood was playing drums.  The residence responsible for the noise was located and a subject was warned under the noise bylaw.

12:48 am – 1200 Block Main St N – Impaired Driving – A complainant was called by a family member saying that an unknown person was suspected to be driving drunk.  A vehicle description was provided.  Police conducted traffic stops on several vehicles in the area matching the vehicle description provided, and all drivers were found to be sober.

12:50 am – 600 Block 2nd Av NE – Assist Sick Person – A subject was transported to the hospital voluntarily. They were left in the care of hospital staff.

1:22 am – 300 Block Grandview St W – Breach Court Order – Police conducted a curfew check on a subject who has a court ordered curfew.  The subject was not home and is to be charged.

1:28 am – 700 Block 6th Av NW – Theft Under – Someone in the back porch of a residence was moving things around. The complainant did not see anyone and believed their dog scared the subject(s) off.  Police attended and discovered 5-6 bags of recyclables had been taken from the deck.  No description of the suspect(s) is available.  The area was searched; however, the suspect(s) were not located.
