7:25 am – Traffic Bylaw – Vehicles were entering the northbound lane to avoid barricades that have the street blocked off. One ticket was issued.
8:34 am – Theft of Auto – A red Honda Civic bearing the license plate 127JND was stolen. The matter is still under investigation.
8:50 am – Hit and Run – The incident occurred last night. $6000.00 in damages was done.
9:19 am – Suspicious Vehicle – An individual was working on a vehicle while it was parked on the street. They were advised that this is illegal and were warned for their actions.
10:26 am – Fraud – An individual responded to an ad in the paper and is now out $3250. The matter is under investigation.
10:53 am – Dangerous Driving – The registered owner was warned for their actions.
11:44 am – Suspicious Occurrence – An individual was leaving his dog sleeping in the car overnight. Police spoke with the owner and he was warned of his actions.
12:30 pm – Weapons Call – An individual was warned for discharging a pellet gun within city limits.
1:00 pm – Bike Theft – A green multi gear CCM mountain bike with a Canadian flag on the crossbar was taken. This was reported for information purposes.
1:26 pm – Hit and Run – The damages were estimated at $2,000, and the vehicle had a white paint transfer. There are no suspects at this time.
1:36 pm – Dispute – The situation was mediated.
2:21 pm – Bike Theft – A 26” Viking Trail Hard tail aluminum mountain bike, black and neon green in color, was stolen. This was reported for information purposes.
2:59 pm – Theft of Auto – A 2002 Ford Focus Sedan, blue in color and bearing license plate number 926 KXQ, was stolen.
3:24 pm – Theft Under – The license plate 548 KJV was stolen off of a utility trailer.
3:29 pm – Theft – An individual was charged with theft under $5,000.00 and was released on an appearance notice.
4:13 pm – Suspicious Occurrence – An individual was advised that the call they received was a scam. This was reported for information purposes.
6:55 pm – Property Dispute - Advice was given and the situation was mediated.
7:14 pm – Traffic Bylaw – A caller reported a driver texting while driving. The individual was warned.
7:34 pm – Noise Bylaw – It was all quiet upon police arrival. This was reported to be a band practice.
8:32 pm – Theft Under – A bike trailer and trailer dolly were stolen from the property. The estimated value is $190.
8:58 pm – Suspicious Occurrence – An individual set up his tent on private property. The individual was asked to leave and was warned not to return.
10:30 pm – Theft Under – The matter is still under investigation.
10:45 pm – Disturbance – The individuals were separated for the night and the situation was mediated.
12:27 am – Suspicious Occurrence – a homeowner could hear someone outside their home near the vehicles. The area was searched, but they were gone upon police arrival.
