Police and Fire Report for August 16-17

Moose Jaw Police responded to 34 calls for service.  

8:25 am – Suspicious Person – A person was sleeping in the lobby of a business. The subject left without issue. 

8:58 am – Driving Impaired – The subject was located, an ASD was performed and the individual was not impaired by alcohol. 

9:14 am – Hit & Run – A vehicle was hit sometime overnight, resulting in approximately $3000.00 of damage. This is still under investigation. 

9:26 am – Suspicious Person – There was a person in a business that is not allowed there. The subject left without issue. 

11:04 am – Parking Bylaw – There was a report of a vehicle parked on the boulevard. The owner moved the vehicle. 

1:46 pm – Unwanted Guest – An unwanted person in a business left. 

4:51 pm – Vehicle Seizure – A subject had a suspended driver’s license. The motorbike was seized for 30 days.  

5:48 pm – Parking Bylaw – A tractor hasn’t moved in 2 weeks. The tires were marked. 

7:17 pm – Unwanted Guest – The subject was arrested on outstanding warrants. 

8:31 pm – Break and Enter – A garage was broken into in the past few days. Items were stolen, and this is still under investigation. 

11:36 pm – Curfew Check – The subject was not home and was to be charged with breach. 

12:57 am – Curfew Check – The subject was home and was released for court for breach. 

4:43 am – Breach of Recognizance – The subject was charged and was released for court.
