Moose Jaw Police responded to 67 calls for service.  

7:14 am – Dispute – A complainant called in to report a dispute between neighbours. Police attended and the situation was mediated. 

9:26 am – Theft – Sometime over last couple days a purse from a vehicle was taken along with some other belongings. This was reported for informational purposes at this time. 

11:19 am – Dangerous Dog – An off leash dog attacked the complainant’s dog. This is still under investigation to locate the owner. 

11:43 am – Mischief – Police were called to a mischief complainant of a subject damaging property. Police located the subject and the individual was warned of their actions. 

12:10 pm – Assault – The victim was called to report an assault that took place. Police attended and one subject was arrested and charged with assault and mischief. 

2:27 pm – Dispute – Police attended to a dispute between neighbours regarding an ongoing issue. Advice was given. 

3:02 pm – Hit & Run – A complainant came to the station to report a hit and run to their vehicle that occurred earlier in the day. Approximately $1,300.00 in damage resulted. 

3:35 pm – Fraud – A complainant came to station to report a fraud. This is still under investigation to obtain more information. 

4:43 pm – MVA – A two vehicle accident resulted in no injuries. One tow was required and one ticket was issued for following too close. 

4:54 pm – Fraud – A complainant called in to report a scam that took place and are now out $3,000. This is still under investigation. 

5:40 pm – Mischief – A complainant came to the police station to report their vehicle being keyed. The incident was reported for insurance purposes. 

6:47 pm – Fraud – A complainant attended the station to report a fraud that occurred and was out $110. This is still under investigation. 

6:49 pm – Theft – The complainant called in to report a theft of bank card. This was reported for informational purposes. 

7:09 pm – Impaired Driver – A restaurant called in to report an impaired driver. The vehicle was not located. This is still under investigation to follow up with the registered owner. 

8:52 pm – Theft – There was a report of a theft at a business. The subject fled and police later located them. The subject was charged with theft and breach of release order. 

11:42 pm – Fraud – A complainant called to report a fraud that happened through their email. The individual was not out any money and this was reported for informational purposes. 

12:03 am – Suspicious Person – A report was made of a suspicious person hanging out in residential area. Police attended and they were sent on their way. 

Police responded to five 911 calls. 
Police made seventeen charges of failures to appear in court. 
Police assisted other agencies in five cases.
