Moose Jaw Police responded to 59 calls for service.  

8:43 am – Abandoned Vehicle – A vehicle was reported to be parked on the street for an extended period of time. This is still under investigation. 

9:09 am – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle was reported to be parked longer than the city bylaw allows.  This is still under investigation. 

9:39 am – Motor Vehicle Accident – A two vehicle accident occurred in a parking lot in the 300 block of Thatcher Drive East. This resulted in one minor injury and one tow was required. 

9:42 am – Traffic Obstruction – A vehicle was parked blocking a stop sign.  Police spoke to workers in the area. This was moved from the intersection. 

10:25 am – Assault – A suspect was charged with assault and a warrant was issued. 

11:38 am – Dispute – This was mediated. Police assisted to keep the parties from breaching conditions. 

11:56 am – Mischief – A vehicle was keyed sometime over the last 3 weeks. This resulted in approximately $700 in damage. 

12:27 pm – Theft – This is still under investigation. 

1:27 pm – Theft – A blue chariot bike attachment was stolen from the 100 block of Duffield St. This is still under investigation. 

2:59 pm – Assault – The suspect was charged with multiple weapon and drug charges. 

3:32 pm – Theft – A vehicle was entered and a GPS unit was taken.  This was reported for informational purposes. 

3:34 pm – Bike Theft – A bike was stolen sometime on June 11 from the 800 block of Chester Rd.  This is still under investigation pending video footage. 

3:42 pm – Theft – Two packages were taken from a mail box sometime between May 27-29. The approximate value was $1000. This is still under investigation to review photos. 

3:47 pm – Theft – A Schwin chariot bike accessory was taken sometime overnight. This was reported for informational purposes. 

3:56 pm – Disturbance – This is still under investigation for police to speak with the subject. 

4:17 pm – Breach of Undertaking – The subject was found to be out of compliance with conditions of release.  They were charged with breach and were released for court at a later date. 

6:06 pm – Assault – The suspect was charged with assault and a warrant was issued.  

6:23 pm – Dispute – There was a dispute over social media posts.  The situation was mediated and the parties were separated. 

7:02 pm – Breach of Undertaking – The subject was making contact while on no contact conditions. This is still under investigation. 

7:05 pm – Neighbour Dispute – An on-going dispute was reported for informational purposes. Advice was given. 

7:09 pm – Well Being Check – The subject was located at home.  The individual was transported to hospital voluntarily and was left in the care of hospital staff. 

9:00 pm – Impaired Driving – The suspect was charged with impaired driving and refusal to submit a breath test. The individual was held in cells until sober and was released for court at a later date. 

9:30 pm – Neighbour Dispute – On-going issues were reported.  This is still under investigation to speak with the parties involved. 

10:54 pm – Dispute – This was mediated and the parties were separated for the night. 

11:40 pm – Noise Bylaw – Loud music was coming from a neighbour’s garage.  All was quiet upon police arrival, and the subject was reminded of the noise bylaw. 

1:55 am – Mischief – Subjects were seen checking vehicle doors in the area of 1600 block Marshal Crescent.  The area was searched, and police were unable to locate. 

3:24 am – Unwanted Guest – They were unable to contact the complainant to gain entry to the premises. 

4:06 am – Suspicious Occurrence – The subject was reported to be wandering the area of 100 block of Lillooet St W pulling a garbage can around.  The subject was located and was sent on his way. 

5:53 am – Unwanted Guest – The subject was found to be sleeping in the vestibule of a business in the 0 block of High St. W.  The subject was located and was sent on his way. 

Police responded to seven 911 calls. 
Police assisted other agencies in four cases.
