Moose Jaw Police responded to 28 calls for service.  

9:44 am – Well Being Check – The caller was unable to make contact with the subject, and there were concerns for their wellbeing. The subject made contact later and was ok. 

9:45 am – Fraud – The subject gave out personal info. This was an online scam, and they are out $900. They were advised to cancel their bank cards. 

9:52 am – Assist Ambulance – The subject overdosed. They were taken to hospital and left in their care. 

10:52 am – Theft – Subjects were stealing from backyards. An unknown amount of recycling was stolen. 

11:12 am – Harassing Calls – The subject was being harassed via messenger. A statement was provided, and this is still under investigation for more info. 

1:38 pm – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle hasn’t moved in over a week. No contact was made with the Registered Owner, and this is still under investigation to make contact. 

3:09 pm – Well Being Check – There were concerns for the subject’s mental health. The subject was ok, and there were no concerns. 

5:52 pm – Break and Enter – This was unfounded. No one was in the residence on Police arrival. No signs of forced entry were noted. 

6:50 pm – Dispute – There was a dispute over snow removal. The situation was mediated. 

7:31 pm – Attempted Theft – Subjects tried to steal money from the premises. This is still under investigation for video footage. 

8:07 pm – Assist Other Agency – A subject was looking for a place to stay overnight. Social Services were contacted to provide assistance. 

10:13 pm – Unwanted Guest – An adult was continuously asking to use the phone in a local business.  The subject’s family was contacted and they were picked up and taken home. 

11:04 pm – Assist Other Police – There was a request to serve a Subpoena. This was assigned to a member. 

11:23 pm – Breach Probation – This was unfounded.  It was a family disagreement, and the parties separated for the night. 

1:37 am – Fail to Attend – Two adults failed to appear in Court on 9 March. Warrants were issued. 

Police responded to six 911 calls. 
Police assisted other agencies in six cases. 
Police completed four wellbeing checks.
