Moose Jaw Police responded to 44 calls for service.  

8:03 am – Theft Under – A vehicle was entered sometime overnight, and $300 worth of property was taken.  

10:00 am – Suspicious Vehicle – A caller reported a vehicle with a trunk open for several days. Police spoke with the registered owner, who accidentally left the trunk open. 

10:04 am – Assist Locate – The subject returned home. There were no concerns for their safety. 

10:16 am – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle was parked in the middle of the alley. Police spoke with the driver, who was stuck and waiting for a tow truck. 

10:36 am – Dispute – The parties were spoken to, and one adult was charged with assault. 

10:43 am – Dispute – The parties were spoken to, and one individual was banned from the location. 

11:39 am – Disturbance – Police attended to someone yelling in the street. The subject was spoken to, and was advised to move along. 

12:12 pm – Disturbance – The subject was causing a disturbance yelling in the street. The subject was issued a ticket. 

12:35 pm – Noise Bylaw – The subject was spoken to and warned of the Noise Bylaw. 

1:18 pm – MVA – Two vehicles were involved in an accident, resulting in one tow, no injuries, and approximately $12,000 in damages. One ticket was issued. 

2:13 pm – Theft Under – Items were stolen from a public space. This is still under investigation to review video footage. 

2:30 pm – Parking Bylaw – Vehicles were reported to be parked for several weeks. The tires were marked, and this is still under investigation to check back in 48 hours. 

3:21 pm – MVA – A single vehicle hit a sink hole at 5th Ave NW and Stadacona St W. A vehicle was towed without damage, city blocking off the area until repairs are complete. 

4:12 pm – Dispute – The parties were spoken to, and the situation was mediated. 

4:55 pm – Fraud – A complainant had $4,500 taken out of their bank account via E-transfer that they did not authorize. This is still under investigation. 

4:56 pm – Traffic Obstruction – A vehicle stopped in the middle of the road with their flasher on. Police spoke with the driver who had stopped to help someone who ran out of gas. 

6:35 pm – Mischief – $1000 of damage was done to the garage. This is still under investigation. 

11:03 pm – ASD Demand – A traffic stop was conducted, and an ASD was administered showcasing a ‘warn’ result. The vehicle was impounded, and the driver’s license was suspended for 3 days. 

11:43 pm – Unwanted Guest – The subject left upon police request and was given a ride home. 

3:15 am – Bike Theft – The bike was stolen sometime overnight. The suspect was known, and this is still under investigation to contact the suspect. 

5:33 am –Suspicious Occurrence – They realized it was a misunderstanding after reviewing the video footage. Nothing criminal took place. 

Police responded to three 911 calls. 
Police executed three warrants. 
Police assisted other agencies in four cases. 
Police completed one curfew check.
