Moose Jaw Police responded to 34 calls for service. 

8:59 am – Theft of Auto – A complainant called in to report the theft of a vehicle within the last week. This is still under investigation. 

9:13 am – Towed Vehicle – A vehicle was parked on the street with expired plates and flat tires. It was towed to a compound, and the registered owner was notified. 

10:14 am – Bike Theft – There was a report of a bike theft within the last week or so. The lock was cut on a bike. This is still under investigation. 

10:31 am – Dispute – A complainant was seeking help regarding a custody dispute. There was no court order in place. Advice was given. 

1:07 pm – Dispute – A complainant called in to report a dispute happening outside and damaged property. Police attended and options were provided. No assault occurred. 

1:14 pm – Lost Property – A complainant called in to report their property lost. This was reported for informational purposes. 

1:57 pm – Pandemic for Assistance – Police attended a residence for a report of a birthday party with more than 10 people. The subjects were warned. 

2:22 pm – Suspicious Occurrence – A subject was trying to get in a store, acting strange. Police attended and located the subject sitting on the ground outside. The individual was sent on their way. 

3:33 pm – Shoplifting – A local business witnessed two subjects shoplifting. Police were able to locate them, and one was charged and banned from the store. 

4:18 pm – Mischief – A subject was located and arrested for throwing cigarette butts in the vestibule of a business. 

4:32 pm – Warrant Execution – A subject came to the police station to turn themselves in on warrants. The individual was later released on conditions and court at a later date. 

6:23 pm – Noise Bylaw – A complainant was calling in to report a noisy vehicle driving around. The vehicle was located, and the driver was warned of the bylaw. 

6:58 pm – Assist to Locate – There was a report of a child who took off after a dispute. The child was located by police and everything was ok. 

9:51 pm– Assault – Police attended to a dispute at a residence between three people over property. One individual was charged with assault and was released on no-contact conditions. 

3:13 am – Assist to Sick Person – The subject was located in the vestibule of the police station, requesting to go to hospital. The individual was transported to hospital and left in the care of staff.
