Power has now been fully restored to Saskatchewan residents following that storm that it the southern and west central parts of the province.

SaskPower says preliminary numbers show that 50,226 customers lost power due to the storm and the outage centre received over 16,583 calls.

Some residents in the province could experience short outages in the coming days, according to SaskPower, in order for crews to make repairs.

Anyone who comes across a downed power line or damaged infrastructure is asked to stay back at least 10 metres and call 310-2220 or 911 if it is an emergency.
