Music will be front and centre at this year’s event as visual and performing art aficionados from across the country gather in Moose Jaw.

We've got a lot good times straight ahead in Moose Jaw.

Sidewalk Days are coming up next week, the Hometown Fair later this month, and an event that peaks interest from people around the province is scheduled for June 27th through the 30th.

The Prairie Arts Festival is set for the end of the month. Festival Chair Dawn Luhning tells us a very popular street artist, that was a smash hit last summer, is returning. "Edgar Mueller is back from Germany who was here last year and did the 3-D art on the street corner and he will be joined by an aboriginal artist from Regina, David Garneau. We're really, really looking forward to their work.

Music will be a big part of the festival this year as Moose Jaw prepares for the Western Canadian Music Awards this fall. In fact a warm up festival is being held as part of the Prairie Arts Festival featuring Saskatchewan performers.
