The Prairie Hockey Academy's U17 prep team won a pair of games over the Regina Capitals on the weekend but needed a little bit extra in their home game.

The Cougars won 3-0 Friday in Regina and 5-2 Saturday at Caronport’s Barkman Arena.

Brydon Bell had a goal and two assists, and Ethan Dekay scored a goal and an assist. Landen Connors, Davis Hunter and Carson Haugan scored singles, with Justin Dueck earning the win in net with 20 saves.

Friday, Connors, Chase Jocelyn and Brennan Watterson each scored, and Mason Briske stopped 22 in the

The U16 prep team had the weekend off game action.
