After a call for tenders, the old Providence Hospital site is still up for sale despite a great view of Wakamow and tonnes of potential.

It is gone. The walls, the windows, and all the debris are gone but the memories remain.

The old Providence Hospital on South Hill Moose Jaw was knocked down this fall. The land it was on is still fenced off and still for sale. In fact, it's been for sale for a few weeks but so far no takers.

The City of Moose Jaw selling it as a Tax Title Property and put a call out for tenders but have not received a single offer.

Land Administrator Laurie Wilkinson believes that land will be developed, eventually. "I think we were hoping that someone would purchase it for some multi family development. Whether it be townhouses, condominiums, single family residential, or anything like that given the location by the valley."

Wilkinson says the land will now be added to the city's vacant land inventory and remain for sale until a developer shows some interest.
