There is still no concrete date for Phase Four of the Re-Open Saskatchewan Plan, but the government announced late last week they would be splitting it into two parts after having hinted at doing so previously.

"We'll be providing more details over the next week about phase four," said Dr. Saqib Shahab, the province's Chief Medical Health Officer. "Some areas that are easier, mostly outdoor recreation activities and more seasonal activities, we may be announcing earlier as phase 4.1. I really like two to three weeks in between phases so that gives you kind of a date towards the end of June or early July."

The first section of Phase Four, when it eventually comes out, will be the smaller of the two halves. It will include child and youth day camps, as well as outdoor pools and spray parks.

Indoor pools are among the features of phase four that will be in the second half. Indoor rinks will be on that list as well, as will theatres, casinos, libraries, museums, galleries, and bingo halls.

The province said they've been hearing requests from the public to open playgrounds and beaches. They said there is no timetable yet for either, but they will try to release firmer information this week.
