PanTerra Resource finishes their 11th well just before we received all of that rain about a week ago and are now waiting for things to dry up.

Things were coming along nicely for an Alberta company searching the Moose Jaw area for shallow natural gas, that is until the rain.

PanTerra Resources is drill 16 wells around Moose Jaw and have 11 of them now complete. Vice President Herve Collet tells us the rain over the last few weeks has slowed operations to a stand still. "Things are going along well. We resumed operations Monday morning after being shutdown by all the rains that occurred and we managed to complete the 11th well and unfortunately it rained again so we're shut down for at least a day of two before we move on."

Collet says there is so much potential for the gas industry in Saskatchewan right now he compares it to Alberta in the 1970's.
