The Moose Jaw Public Library has a couple of special events planned for the month of January.

The Regina Symphony Chamber Players will be playing a free concert in the main lobby on January 14 from 2 pm to 3 pm.

"It's pretty cool. They've been doing it at the Regina Public Library for some time now and we're really fortunate to have them offer to come and do it here in Moose Jaw for us," said public service clerk Naiomi Setter.

Setter says the concert will feature a dozen members of the Regina Symphony Orchestra.

Space will be limited and Setter encourages members of the public to arrive early to claim their spot.

Later in the month, children's author Megan Nelson of Moose Jaw will be doing a special reading on January 28 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, reading from her book Nevvie's World Upside Down.

No registration is required.
