enjoy a good meal and some fellowship and quality time with some of their friends or family or business associates,” says Joe Miller, Executive Director of Souls Harbour Rescue Mission.

The organization will also be presenting the Rescue Award.

“(It) will be handed out to somebody in recognition of extraordinary service; volunteer service, financial contribution, or something like that. For us, it’s a way to appreciate someone and to just recognize them and tell them how much they mean to us,” says Miller.

The event will also feature a few special guest interviews with volunteers and clients of Souls Harbour Rescue and Riverside Mission.

There will be door prizes given out throughout the night as well.

Tickets for the event are going for $40 each or $280 for a table of eight.

They can be bought by calling Souls Harbour Rescue Mission at 306-543-0011 and paying over the phone by credit card or locals can visit the Riverside Mission building at 40 Manitoba Street to pay directly by debit.

The Heritage Inn will open the doors for the event at 5:30 and the banquet begins at 6 pm.
