An update to the armed robbery at the Safeway gas bar. Police have arrested a 22-year-old and a 16-year-old in connection to the robbery that occured Monday night.

 

The 16-year-old, who cannot be named because of his age, is facing a charge of armed robbery and a charge of wearing a mask while committing an indictable offence after being arrested yesterday.

The 22-year-old is Allan Hunter of Moose Jaw who is facing the same charges. But is facing two additional charges after being arrested Tuesday morning while apparently trying to steal a car just hours after the hold up.

Both appeared in Provincial Court Thursday morning. The 16 year old is back in court August 7th, 22 year old Allan Hunter is back August 14th.

Both of them remain in police custody.
