The Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities begins its June Division meetings Tuesday.

One of the main agenda items is called "Clearing the Path". SARM President David Marit says its an initiative to remove impediments to economic development.  "What we are looking at is setting up a road network inside the RM's all throughout the Saskatchewan so the primary weights can flow from one RM to another RM on a designated road network," says Marit.

"It would just make it easier for industry to move their product in and out of our province," says Marit.

Pandemic Planning will be another of the main issues up for discussion.

The Division 2 meeting will take place Wednesday...at the Prince of Wales Centre in Assiniboia.
