We are now getting a fuller picture of the events surrounding a multi-vehicle collision involving a member Moose Jaw Police Service that occurred last Saturday.

While the investigation by the crash reconstruction team is ongoing, preliminary findings show that both the civilian and police vehicles were traveling south on Highway 2 when the collision took place.

The officer involved has now been released from the hospital and the two occupants of the other vehicle only suffered minor injuries that were treated on the scene.

The police cruiser has been written off at an approximate cost of $100,000.
