The Moose Jaw RCMP provided an update on the unaccounted-for missing teenager, following an incident at Barney's Beach along Buffalo Pound Lake on Friday night. 

The RCMP said in a release, that the search will continue for the missing teen on Monday, and police, search, and dive teams will be in the area on Monday. 

They are asking the public to avoid Barney’s Beach and to respect all directions given by first responders in the area.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Moose Jaw RCMP received a report of an unaccounted swimmer at Barney’s Beach on the north shore of Buffalo Pound Lake.

Initial investigation indicates five teenagers were walking and swimming in the water when the wind and waves swept one of them out into the water. The teen was not immediately located.

Moose Jaw RCMP, Moose Jaw Search, and Rescue, STARS Air Ambulance and conservation officers with the Provincial Protective Services Branch all attended the scene.
