Environment Canada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Moose Jaw, Penske, Craik, and Central Butte areas. 

They say that conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms Saturday afternoon in the evening.

The main threats will be
    - hail to the size of quarters
    - wind gusts to 90 km/h

Thunderstorms will exit the region later this evening.

Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.

Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
