Severe Weather Strikes Again

The thunderstorm warning for the Moose Jaw area was issued at 9:30 Wednesday night and it hit about 9:50. Black clouds, spectacular lightning, lots of rain and some hail are being reported is some parts of the city.

Power was knocked out in some parts of Moose Jaw as well thanks to several lighting strikes but no significant damage was reported. Power was also out west of here in the Parkbeg-Chaplin district.

39mm of rain is being reported in Moose Jaw after the storm Wednesday night and Thursday morning. 52mm has been reported in Bethune with only 3 and a half in Davidson.
