The Town of Shaunavon is paying tribute to a local group, The Hunter Brothers, with new signage as you come into the community on Third Avenue.

Director of Operations for The Town of Shaunavon, Ron Phillips, said, "I think it was after the CCMA nomination that the Hunter Brothers had, and with all their success last year, Council decided they wanted to acknowledge the success they've been having."

JJ Hunter spoke on behalf of the group, saying that the sign was a true honour for them, and he said they wanted to thank the community, the area, and the province for all the support since they started with their music.
