A low-pressure system making its way across the northern United States is causing some winter havoc in Southern Saskatchewan.

Much of the southern part of the province was put under a snowfall warning early Tuesday morning, and as of Wednesday,  southeast Saskatchewan is still under that warning.

While the snowfall is starting to slow down Carlyle, Estevan and Weyburn are all expected to have 15-20cm by the time the clouds clear up.

Roads surrounding Moose Jaw are in fairly good condition, but if you need to travel south, give yourself some extra time and prepare for poor road conditions.

You can check current road conditions here, and find more details on the storm and the areas affected on Environment Canada's website.
