After dropping their 14th game in a row Wednesday night, the Assiniboia Southern Rebels will wrap up the first half of the season tonight in Regina.

Another tough loss for the Assiniboia Southern Rebels Wednesday night as their losing skid was extended to 14 games.

While Assiniboia showed some offensive talent posting 5 goals thanks to Yuzo Wakatsuki, Mike Kalika, Jared Karst, and Derek Lessmeister, Fort Knox lit the lamp eight times in total.

The Southern Rebels will wrap up their pre-Christmas schedule with a game against the Capitals in Regina Thursday.

Assiniboia Coach Randy Cuthill believes the Christmas break will be a good thing. "We've got a few guys that are playing about 70 per cent because of injuries and this is going to give everyone a chance to get healthy and go home then come back and with a new start."

The Southern Rebels play the Capitals in Regina Thursday night and they'll start the 2nd half of the season in Regina as well on January 3rd.
