It was a busy weekend of baseball within Moose Jaw. Starting with the 18U AAA Canucks, they dropped a pair of games against the East Central Red Sox 8-3 and 10-7. The 15U AAA Canucks played four games this past weekend. On Saturday, the Saskatoon Astros took both games of a doubleheader, but the Canucks responded on Sunday against Swift Current taking one of two against the 57s. 

Over to the 15U AA Canucks, they rolled to a 19-6 win over Melville on Saturday. 

It was a successful weekend for the 14U Golden Ticket women's volleyball team, as they walked away with a gold medal in their tier at the National Volleyball Championship in Winnipeg. The 16U women's squad was in Calgary for Nationals and went 5-2 losing in the quarterfinals.

Over to lacrosse, the Moose Jaw Junior Mustangs lost a pair of games up in Prince Albert over the weekend against the Predators 21-8 and 15-4. 

Three Moose Jaw hockey products continued their quest for a National Junior A title at the Centennial Cup over the weekend. Caelan Fitzpatrick and his Brooks Bandits improved to 2-0 after a 5-1 win on Saturday over the Ottawa Jr. Senators. 

Kirk Mullen and his Steinbach Pistons split the weekend losing 4-2 on Friday night and then rebounded with a 5-2 win on Sunday against Brydon Bell and the Kam River Fighting Walleye. Bell and the Walleye still are looking for their first win of the tournament. You can find the complete schedule HERE.

The Western Hockey League final is tied 1-1 heading to Seattle for Game 3 on Tuesday night. The Winnipeg ICE took game 1 on Friday, then the Thunderbirds responded with a 4-2 win on Saturday night. 

And it's an end to the Edmonton Oilers season, as they fell 5-2 on Sunday to Vegas.
