It was a split for the Moose Jaw Warriors this past weekend. On Friday night, a third-period comeback led the Warriors to a 3-2 win over the Prince Albert Raiders. Jagger Firkus had the game-winner in the third period with a shorthanded goal. On Saturday, they couldn't beat the undefeated Rebels, as Red Deer scored four unanswered goals to win 4-2 at the Hangar. Atley Calvert and Brayden Yager scored in the loss. Moose Jaw will be back at it on Tuesday, as the Edmonton Oil Kings visit the Hangar for the first time this season. Things get rolling at 7:00 p.m. 

The Moose Jaw WINMAR AAA Warriors were on the wrong side of a 4-1 loss to the Saskatoon Contacts on Saturday afternoon. Regina's Jake Briltz was the lone goal-scorer for the Warriors. Sunday's game was postponed against the Warman Wildcats due to the weather. Moose Jaw will hit the road later this week to Tisdale for a pair of games against the Trojans on Thursday and Friday. 

Senior girls' and boys' volleyball finals go Tuesday night at Sask PolyTech. On the boy's side, it will be Vanier and Assiniboia going head to head at 8:00 p.m. And then at 6:20 p.m., it will be Peacock and Central battling it out on the senior girl's side. 

In the CFL, the divisional semi-finals took place on Sunday. In the east Montreal was 28-17 winners over Hamilton, and the Lions took down Calgary 30-16 out west. Montreal will play Toronto and BC will play Winnipeg in the divisional championships on Sunday. 

Over to the NHL, only one Canadian team was in action on Sunday. The Toronto Maple Leafs got past the Carolina Hurricanes 3-1 on the road. 

And the Houston Astros won their second World Series in the last six years with a 4-1 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday in Game 6.
