They take the momentum of a 5-game winning streak into the playoff round on Thursday in Calgary.  

Moose Jaw's Little League All-Stars with an exciting 8-7 win over Quebec yesterday at the Canadian Regionals.  It was a bases-loaded, wild pitch in the bottom of the 6th that finished it with Luke Turner racing home for the walk-off win.

Moose Jaw finished the round-robin with a 5 and 1 record.  They play Calgary West All-Stars in the semi-finals at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. 

The Moose Jaw Miller Express is back in action on Friday night at Ross Wells Park.  It's round two of the Canadian Western Baseball League playoffs.  The Millers are up against Medicine Hat Mavericks in the east division final.

In the World Junior Hockey Championships in Edmonton, Team Canada skated to a 5-2 win over Latvia, they will be back on the ice on Thursday afternoon against the 0-1 Slovakia team at 4:00 p.m.

Week 10 of CFL action starts with Thursday night football with the 2-6 Alouettes in Winnipeg to play the 9-0 Blue Bombers.  The Saskatchewan Roughriders will play the Elks in Edmonton Saturday night with an 8:00 p.m. start.
