The Moose Jaw Miller Express will look to make it four in a row on Tuesday, as they kick off a two-game weekday series against their east division rivals, the Medicine Hat Mavericks. The action gets going at 7:05 p.m. at Ross Wells Park.
This season Moose Jaw is 3-5 against the Mavericks.
Moose Jaw's Little League AAA Major All Stars kick off their Canadian Championship on Tuesday evening in Regina against Ontario at 5:30 p.m. Last year, the All Stars made it all the way to the final but fell to BC. The winner of this tournament will represent Canada at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA, later this month.
The Moose Jaw U17 AA Ice continue to prepare for their national tournament later this month. They will be playing a doubleheader on Tuesday at Optimist Park starting at 5:00 p.m. against the Saskatoon Phantoms and Regina Saints. Moose Jaw kicks off the tournament on Aug. 9, against the Central Energy in Saskatoon.
The 15UAA Ice are also just over a week away from heading to their nationals in Brandon, Manitoba. Before they go they are holding a BBQ fundraiser on Wednesday to help with the travel costs and give the community a chance to give them a proper send-off, which gets going at 6:00 p.m.
They will also be playing a doubleheader against the Lumsden Cubs starting at 6:30 p.m. at Optomist Park.
In tennis, the Provincial Senior Open was held this past weekend at the Moose Jaw Tennis Club.

Heading over to some hockey, the Moose Jaw Warriors announced on Monday that tickets are now on sale for their first-ever pre-season game in Assiniboia at the Southland Co-op Centre. They will host the Swift Current Broncos on Sept 9. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for youth (6-18 years old), and kids 5 & under are free. Get your tickets HERE.
