It's a big weekend for the Moose Jaw Warriors, as they take on their arch-rivals, the Regina Pats this weekend in the final installment of the Trans-Canada Clash. The fun gets started on Friday night in Regina and then back home on Saturday to a sold-out Moose Jaw Events Centre. Both games get going at 7:00 p.m. and all the action can be found on Country 100. 

The Moose Jaw U13 A Carpet One Mavericks 1 have booked their ticket to the east final. They swept their second-round series against the Prairie Storm and now will take on the Parkland Fire on Thursday. Things get rolling at 7:45 p.m. at the Pla-Mor Palace. 

In the west final, it will be the Moose Jaw U13 A Carpet One Mavericks 2 taking on the Western Prairie Unity. The date and times are still to be determined. 

The high school senior basketball city finals take place on Tuesday night, at the Sask Polytech Gymnasium. Vanier and Peacock play at 6:20 p.m. in the girls' final, and for the boys, Central takes on Peacock at 8:00 p.m.

The Holy Trinity Catholic School Division elementary championships are on at Vanier Collegiate on Tuesday

St. Agnes is taking on St. Michael in both the girl's and boys' finals.  Girls play at 6:00 p.m. with the boys taking the court at 7:15 p.m.

The Assiniboia Curling Club will be hosting a ladies' bonspiel, this Friday and Saturday. Enjoy a “Fiesta Fun” themed bonspiel with 3 games and dinner. The entry fee is $200 and for more info and to enter call Bill at 306-640-9655.

The Toronto Blue Jays hit the field for some spring training action on Monday. The Jays crushed the Boston Red Sox 16-3 in Grapefruit league play. Toronto will open the regular season on March 30 in St. Louis against the Cardinals. 

And in the NHL on Monday night, Montreal was doubled up by Colorado 8-4 and the Maple Leafs fell 4-3 to Buffalo.
