It was a game of bounces on Tuesday night and the bounces did not go the Moose Jaw Warrior's way, as they lost their second in-a-row at home - a 2-1 decision to the Prince Albert Raiders. Warriors forward Jagger Firkus had this to say after the loss last night.

"We can't wait until the third period to be urgent and want to get a goal, I think that has to start in the first," says Firkus. "It's also on the leadership group, but I think there were a lot of chances that I could've pushed myself a bit harder. It's a tough loss to take and it's going to hurt for a little bit for sure."

The Warriors now look towards a home-and-home series with the Swift Current Broncos starting on Friday night at the Hangar with a 7:00 p.m. puck drop and then will head west to take on the BC division.

Moose Jaw's WINMAR AAA Warriors are in action on Thursday looking to make it two wins in a row. They travel southeast to Wilcox for a matchup with the Notre Dame Hounds. The game is slated to start at 8:00 p.m. and catch all the action on the team's Facebook page.

The Moose Jaw U15 AA Warriors are on the road this weekend for a pair of games. First off, they are in Yorkton on Friday night to take on the Terriers at 7:30 p.m. and then are in Estevan on Saturday evening for a matchup with the Bruins.

Grey Cup week begins in earnest on Wednesday in Regina. The Toronto Argonauts and two-time defending champion Winnipeg Blue Bombers have arrived in town. It's a practice day today and the CFL awards will be handed out on Thursday. The 109th Grey Cup game is set for Sunday.
