Concerts and events at Saskatoon's Credit Union Centre will no longer require a ticket.  The Credit Union Centre will soon start experimenting with a paperless ticket.

Instead of tickets, customers will have to show their credit card and proper identification to prove they purchased a seat. Of course, that will make getting tickets as gifts for someone else much more difficult.

The initiative is an effort to stop scalpers. Whether or not it will work will be tested out at a John Mayer concert next spring. 1,600 premium seats will use paperless ticketing.
