Students at St. Margret's school in Moose Jaw now have some new equipment to play with out on their playground.

Carolyn Gabourie is a Member of School Community Council and spoke about what it meant to her to get to see the kids playing on the new outdoor toys.

"I think this is what everyone in the school was expecting. Everyone who was in the parent councils worked towards this and all the community business, to see this it makes us all happy."

Gabourie adds that there were many that were involved in helping to complete the project.

"Most of the fundraising for the project was done for the past 2-3 years. In terms of purchasing and selecting companies, that was done by the school community council. We are grateful for Blue Imp, who provided us with the equipment and lead us in installing it. We are also thankful for Home Hardware, Strictly Fencing and the Community Initiative Fund, who gave us a grant."

A special grand opening was held on Friday, which then allowed students to use the new equipment, which included swings and a teeter-totter.
