The City of Moose Jaw released an advisory that says City Hall will be doing some roof repairs beginning Wednesday, August 3rd.

The project will occur in two phases, affecting pedestrian traffic and parking along the 0 block of Fairford St. West and 200 block of Main St. North.

Phase one will occur on August 3-7: The Main Street sidewalk will be closed from the intersection of Fairford Street West to north of the City Hall main entrance and parking will be restricted in the construction area.

City Hall customers can access the City Hall doors from the south.

The City Hall drop box will be unavailable during Phase One. The City apologizes for any inconvenience.

Phase Two is set to begin once Phase One is complete and last approximately five days: The Fairford Street sidewalk will be temporarily closed to pedestrian traffic from east of the Police Station entrance to the Main St. intersection. Parking will also be restricted in this construction area.

The repair project, which was approved in the City’s 2022 Capital Budget, will restore the copper roof sections of City Hall.
