This year along with the excitement from the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, there was also a bit of excitement from the local Farmer's Market.

With spectators and competitors from all over from the tournament, Moose Jaw has been keeping very busy these past few weeks, in all this rush of excitement, the turnout from the new location for the Farmer's Market and the first time being held at the Heritage Inn was a big success.

Darlene Young, Interior designer who was set up at the booth gives us her thoughts.

"It's been great that the Heritage Hotel has allowed us to be in here. The only thing about February is that everybody goes south, so a lot of the vendors weren't able to be here, but even a little bit closer to March or April is still a good time because people are still able to come and shop."

" It's an unusual market for us and our first time being set up here and it's been great, we've already had more than our regular farmers market." Says Theresa, who had homemade bath and beauty products available.

All vendors were relatively happy with the Farmer's Market and Scotties happening at the same time to bring in new and exciting faces, hoping something like this can happen again.
