windy weather

The clean up started late Wednesday afternoon following two days of high winds. Moose Jaw saw wind gusts of 80km per hour causing tree limbs to break off, garbage bins were sent tumbling and lawn furniture went missing.

So far, that's the only damage being reported but in some parts of the province there were power outages.

After the rain on the weekend and then the high winds, farmers were just getting back into the swing of things but now more rain is in the forecast. Environment Canada is calling for a chance of showers on Saturday when a new system of moisture is expected to move in. They're expecting for rain on Sunday and Monday.
