Recently Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been talking with many mayors throughout Saskatchewan and Alberta about the issues they are having in their respective communities.

But what would happen if the Prime Minister called our own Mayor Frasier Tolmie?

In this month's edition of Ask The Mayor on CHAB, Rob Carnie asked that very question to Mr. Tolmie.

"First of all, I would talk about the impact of the carbon tax. We have just gone through three changes in legislation through the Federal Ministry of Environment which impacts the Sask Power Plant that we've been talking about, so we would talk about that, and the impacts it has on farming in our surrounding communities"

Tolmie added more on what topics he would talk about.

"Further I would talk about the need for infrastructure dollars in our community and the difficulties for small communities like Moose Jaw to be able to access those dollars because of the way that they give out the grants."

Tolmie concluded saying he would also talk about changing Canada's National animal to the Moose.
