Transit fares increasing Feb 1

The City of Moose Jaw is reminding residents that new transit fare rates come into effect Wednesday, February 1, 2023.

The new rates were approved by city council as part of the 2023 Municipal Budget.

Transit fares will increase as follows:

- Conventional cash fares will increase from $2.25 to $3.25
- 10 conventional tickets will cost $32.50
- Paratransit cash fares will increase from $1.50 to $2.50
- 10 paratransit tickets will cost $25.00

Monthly bus pass rates will not increase at this time. 

Transfer tickets are eligible for use when an immediate transfer to another bus at the downtown transfer point is required to reach your final destination.
